Hey, Deb,s. My experience....well, if you visit www.jerseyboysblog.com/forums there are discussions on there about JB experiences. I myself haven't met any of the casts, but I did see the Chicago cast once back in March. My JB fandom comes from a rather different experience...writing JLY. Then I just got hooked on the musical. It's just an enjoyable experience and I hope to see it again.

PS You're going to meet a lot of JB friends on here. Everyone on here is really nice. You can join the JB forum if you'd like. www.jerseyboysblog.com/forums

Well...okay, this is my email: bethl-jerseygirl@att.net
Yeah......
August of '07
I've always been a Four Seasons fan, so I bought this CD called "Jersey Boys" because "Dawn" was on it. I listened to it once, then put it in the drawer for reasons I don't quite remember. So Christmas comes, and for some reason the guy singing lead as Frankie..his voice just stuck in my head, so during my Christmas Break, I pop in the JB CD and I'm like, "Eh, what the heck? Might as well listen to it."
My life changed from then on.
So January of '08 comes...I write JLY (Frankie) a fan letter. Then, my brother and his fiancee lose their unborn son. One week exactly after we found out the bad news, I get this letter in the mail...JLY sent me two autographed pics and a nice card. So here's me, hysterical from what's just happened to this really sweet response from JLY. So I write him back, thanking him.
And we've been writing back and forth ever since. It was kind of unexpected for me, but I'm very thankful because he's helped me through a lot and inspired me to do things, like for example, I did a CF fundraiser back in May after reading about the disease through a link off of his blog.
Jersey Boys itself...best musical on earth and if I could see it every night at every show I would. But I kind of can't afford it just yet....I was lucky to have seen it once.
What about you? How did you become a "jerseygirl" :D lol

Thank you, Deb,s. I come from Summit, IL, which is just outside Chicago. Literally, the city limits are two blocks from where I live! :D lol I could use all the friends I can get, definitely, and thank you, you sound very nice, too. It's nice to meet you.
Congratulations on being a grandma again! I like the name choices! I've decided that my first daughter's name is going to be Mary Louise (after my nana who passed away recently) and I have a pretty good idea on what my first son's name is going to be.
